I've been submitting manuscripts for a over a year now to magazines.  While the rejections are eating away at me, I refuse to quit.  Everyone receives those letters when they start out.  It would just be nice if it wasn't frustratingly difficult to get a foot in the door.

Poetry magazines are the first places I submitted my work to in the beginning.  Later on I decided I want to write for children and took a writing course.  The course took a while to complete.  I was submitting work before I finished and I still continue to submit manuscripts.  I'm hoping sometime soon I will receive a letter informing me about my working being accepted.  Because one more rejection letter and I'm going to grab a pillow and scream into it.
