I like how this is broken into three eparate parts that all come together in the end, and love how you auestion it in the last line. Fits very well together - Peace - Ian

This is super fun Anna!
The residue of wax that leaves a spot where watercolors run around - could it be Ground? ( as in land, earth or maybe rock) though I think they are all porous to some degree. Your water color flow has spread my thoughts.
Great job. I enjoyed this immensely.
Thanks Michael

Thanks for reading! Of course, if I see what you mean, the notions of 'figure' and 'ground' are applicable here. But especially funny are those of 'backgrounding' and 'foregrounding': the wax spot defines the spread of watercolour, but on the other hand, it is, intuitively, foregrounded rather than backgrounded. It could, probably, be worked into a great human (relations) story, but somehow gets tedious. Maybe it's not the right approach.
