It sure does sound like schizophrenia indeed. I like the normalcy of your tone and the fact that you take the voice of a schizophrenic (if that indeed is the dx). I think this was a very objective write yet evoked the subjectivity of the matter.

So good to see your writing again Scout. As always a great piece, particularly in context of the challenge. I feel that the syncopated line breaks work particularly well to convey the mental state of the speaker.
