"Love Thinking"

Written by John Templin  (8/23/2005 6:50:38 PM)

”Why did I have to fall in love? Love hurts” “Never have I been in love like this” “I know some love last forever, but will mine?” Oh, don’t you know you’ve written a beautiful poem? The mind has no control over the heart, therefore the mind considers thoughts such as the ones above copied from your wonderful poem. Take heart, sometimes the talent of the pen captures the fantasy of the moment, and it is real. Is there an answer to those questions? I once asked myself those very same issues, and the answer drew me to the one I have lived with for Fifty-one years (thus far). Dreams can, and do come true. Someday yours may also be reality. A very good poem on a very thoughtful subject.

Oh, yes!

Exactly! This is great. I find myself always asking these very questions. Will love last? Who knows. I really can say that I relate to this piece. I am always thinking about love, and if it really exists.
