Everyone says my poem is sad, and I know it is. I just have to say I can't take all the credit, this poem was inspired by a story I read a few years back. If links are allowed the one below SHOULD take you to the story, but if not allowed, there's just no link.

I'm afraid to say the link doesn't work. If anyone is extremely determined to see the story (Which I know no one is) yu must create an account, log in, click site map, look for the link that says, library and click it. There should be al list of the things they will let you read, How Could You? Should be one of them.

"The prisoner of love had run out of days"

Girl, this is good stuff! Beautiful imagery.

So sad, I can just see the poor thing. I have two dogs and I love them. I can't imagine why anyone would just give a pet to the pound.
