Interesting, nicely written with an easy flow and the poem makes sense ( I did a search on Conrad Aiken to find out who he was and his bio). It may be most people are turned away from reading/rating because they do not know who he is either.
(Maybe next time, wonder and write about Hilter, Elvis, etc - a more recognizable name...- just joking :)
Thank you for posting.

A movie script in 39 lines...

Whimsical and charming

What better picnic companion than a great poet! Actually Aiken has made somewhat of a comeback after the distinguished critic Harold Bloom wrote a glowing introduction to a recent edition of his Collected Poems. He's one of my favorites also.

Very good poem with interesting structure. It's a combinaton of very traditional style (capitalizing the first word of each line) and modern (limited punctuation and varying line lengths).

Change "you secrets" to "your secrets". That's a typo I make constantly.

Cheers,
Bill
