You have to let someone in to see you, or they will break in and see the side of you you don't want them to see, not yet, or not ever, they will one day see that side of you. And when they do, if they love you, they will break down those walls for you, and will love every part of you, as much as you love every part of them.

copy of I Am A Rock by S&G hanging at work - my protection against being hurt again. I always build walls, a preemptive attempt to keep my guard up. But the mortar slowly crumbles and I find that I long to be touched again. Nice work.
