Slanted Rhyme

Try to stay away from 'almost', or 'slanted' rhymes.

can/stand
fighting/striving
miracle/toil - this isn't even slanted - the only thing in common here is the letter 'L'
life/might
together/forever

None of these really rhyme, and the third stanza ends in 'you' three out of four lines.

extremely touching

this poem was so very touching, today im extremely sensitive as its been exactly 3 months since i lost My Petey, but this poem spoke for me, it expresses what i feel, even though i myself was unable to put it into words. its very beautiful and empathetic and i congratulate you on this wonderful piece

The poem is easy enough to understand, though the end comment is a little... ambiguous. But it's good!

Q: How could a loving God send anyone to Hell?
A: Why would a holy God let anyone into Heaven?
E.

this is wonderful
