I very much enjoyed the emotion conveyed in this poem. Kind of like seeing a shadow even after the sun is no longer shining. It provoked for me the images of the imprints lovers leave on our souls long after they are gone. Wonderful.

hauntingly beautiful and sad

... a blanket of memories to stave of the midnight blues.

Much talent here, and much enjoyed.

"like Pompeii's frozen ashes ..."

Left me with images of those bodies there, like trying to run away but got caught, or two people holding each other -frozen , ashes, dead. sad
