Thanks, deadman and mreli

for the generous replies. I was pleased you enjoyed the rhyme scheme, mainly because of its association with Frost in his Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening poem. The interlocking Rubaiyat rhyme scheme is one of my favourites. This is my little nod to Robert Frost, hence the title.

This is a marvelous poem. I admire the simple diction which contians much beauty. It is a nature poem, but nothing is hard to see o understand. The flow is good and the end brings the poem home. "..Promises to keep." I like this ending.

You have done well here. Keep on writing.
