There are too many reasons why
I've decided this is goodbye.
I could just say it's not you, it's me -
And make it ring with sincerity -,
But it was both of us...well, mostly you.
I tried to make it work, but it takes two.

Now you're free and unencumbered;
And your conquests must be numbered
Quite a jaw-dropping amount,
Probably too large to count.

You're a hunter, and it's open season -
Well, I believe that's all the more reason
To hightail it out of your way;
No matter what, you're gonna play,
And go out hunting every night.
You're bound to catch something, alright.
