Strange Brew \

Life rushing past
like quicksilver.
Constantly moving...
feeling separate from
Vestiges of love tattooed on
clouds are fading.
Windswept pools of liquid
remorse are drowning
tender mercies buoying
my equilibrium now sailing
at half-mast.
Dreams vague, untouchable
like the fog rolling in.
Slipping away...
who paid my entrance fee?
