Andra - Challenge 2

My mind strayed,
and in the process,
I misplaced her,
her with her beautiful eyes,
one brown, one blue,
all the colors
of the earth and sky and sea.
Her, with her sweet, red lips,
smiling a smile that after 16 years,
can still make me weak in the knees.
My mind had strayed
to the murky brown waters
of some sort of strange infidelity.
Then one night,
holding her,
as if by God,
my mind became clear
and filled with joy,
bright as a yellow summer sun,
I found her again.
My love, my life,
my everything, my wife.
She is my pot of gold
at the end of the proverbial
glowing hued rainbow.
I shall not stray again,
I shall stay forever,
in the vast swirling brilliant colors
of her,
my love.
