Queen of the Seas ( Solitary Fate) Challenge 4 - Picture II

Queen of the Seas ( Solitary Fate) Challenge 4 - Picture II

Standing at the shoreline, gazing out into fantasy,
I see from afar the mystery of her existence.
Queen of the Seas, she lounges atop her island throne.
Her face to the heavens, seagulls encircle her
in benediction to her purity.
Her whole being seems to flow in a waterfall of love,
cascading about her body, as does my desire.
She makes the waves themselves call my name,
beckoning me to come to her, to serve her, to save her
from her solitary fate.
But I just stand still and alone at the shoreline.
Though I long to heed her call, go to her, save her, love her,
I remain upon the lonely sands,
sadly remembering, I am unable to swim.

A REAL man has a big heart, not a big gun.
