tick tock?

A daY turns into a week happy days
weeks then months and years past
I sit alone and watch the clock,
time stops for no one tick tock
another morning sun then rain snow
then sun again,
the reaper at another door as a box
leaves and is carried up the street,
dead people walking waiting prayers
said to their god songs reach rafters
and echo down,
graveyard shift clay piles names etched
in stone i turn i remember them friends
family others,
when you are at my door reaper
i will not fear you because i know you,
so many times i''ve stood in black
so many tears i have no more to give
so the heart tires and is broke,

let your mind free the words flanders.,.
