I look at the stars
as they coalesce
and drip on my eyes
I savor the silence
and watch the moon die

I watch the wall
outside the pub
dipped in graffiti
like a whole new city
I look at the colors
as they paint themselves
in to reality
defying gravity

But every thing was fine
I was safely trapped
in dark black cage
with guards and snipers
shooting every trace of hope
caught by customs
and myths

now i''m flying
and i can feel the breeze
I let go, i let it be
coz i know
i''ll hit the ground sometime
be dragged into that cage again
so i let it go, i let it be
i''ll walk into that trap myself

when the smoke is gone
when i''m sober
when I wake up
and the dream is over
when the music stops
and the colors are blank
when I walk out of the Maryland .
