Those Little Three (Boat Challenge)

Those Little Three (Boat Challenge)

There was one,
and then there were three...
each one built so delicately,
folded together so intricately,
but oh, they float so precariously,
sailing through the sea,
in a way, so beautifully,
all the pretty colors appear gloriously,
shimmering on the surface so stunningly,
yet still, never, ever peacefully,
the stormy surface makes it clear to see,
the undertow can be deadly,
and the three are sinking,
whether it be slowly or quickly,
such a sad thing to me,
I loved those little three,
so pretty, but unfortunately,
their intricacy
made them no longer sturdy,
and one by one
they slip
to the bottom of the sea,
and become
just a memory,
oh, such a sad thing to me,
such a sad thing to see,
for I truly loved
...those little three.
