Riddle Me This - Who is Life Surrounded by Death

Riddle Me This - Who is Life Surrounded by Death

I exiled myself to care for you,
quarantined my body, but not my soul,
and of my heart, I gave freely.
Your maladies became my own pain,
yet never did they claim me,
though time and time again
I came to cleanse your broken bodies.
I gave to you all the graciousness in my heart,
and your gratitude filled me,
and as you passed,
I delivered you out of pain,
and to Heaven,
where all your infirmities were washed away,
and you were healed.
Oh, none of you passed without a prayer,
and the knowledge that we shall meet once more,
healed by the hand of God...in Heaven.
