And so the light of our souls crossed,
for a brief moment in time,
and you made me shine even brighter,
within, and without...
but in God's time, truly,
it was but a mere nanosecond...
an infinitesimal moment of meeting...
and when looking back, that's how it feels,
especially, knowing now, we have turned,
far apart and away,
for a very, very long
turn in time...
and even when, in moments of madness,
when the burning lights of our beings do cross,
it is no shimmering, beautiful shining light,
it is only an explosion of souls clashing,
in the darkness of day's black night,
oh, I know...
just another infinitesimal time of meeting,
but these moments do not feel fleeting,
when engrossed in the emotional angst...burning...
...strangely ironic though, that these moments
guide me back home,
back to a beacon of welcoming light,
where I belong.
