THE CHANCE

MY HEART HAD A CHANCE TO ESCAPE OUR LOVE TODAY
BUT WANTED TO STAY
MY HEART HAD A CHANCE TO RUN AWAY
BUT IT'S YOU IT'S THINKING OF
IT ONLY GOES THE DISTANCE THAT KEEPS YOU IN SIGHT

MY HEART HAD A CHANCE TO ESCAPE WHILE IT COULD
ALL THE FREEDOM IN THE WORLD WITHOUT YOU WOULDN'T DO IT ANY GOOD
FEELINGS FOR YOU ARE DEEP AND WIDE
PASSIONS LIKE A SUNKEN SHIP CRASHING AT OCEAN'S FLOOR
AND TO THINK MY HEART HAD A CHANCE TO ESCAPE TODAY
A CHANCE TO ESCAPE THE POWER OF LOVE

LIKE A MOVIE WHERE THE HERO GETS CAUGHT
THEN FINALLY GET A CHANCE TO GET AWAY
SUDDENELY THE HERO DECIDES TO STAY

IT WAS THE CHANCE TO GET AWAY, BUT
WITH YOU IS WHERE IT WANTS TO STAY
