Dear Poetry Aficionados,

Poetry & Poets in Rags blog:
http://poetryandpoetsinrags.blogspot.com/

We begin with the Guardian''s Hay Festival. Click that link, and you will be served up a feast of articles on books. Following this composite story, is another one, a series of links at The National Post, interviews in questionnaire format for the poets in the running for the 2010 Griffin Poetry Prize. That set of links is rounded out by one to the Toronto Star on the Griffin turning 10. Those two stories cover only two of the continents this week''s articles touch down on.

Be sure to scroll through the Great Regulars section, for important articles and some excellent poetry. Also this week, important poets have died. Scroll through the Poetic Obituaries, where I have tried to link to the most comprehensive articles on them.

Thanks for clicking in.

Yours,
Rus
