Declaration of Intent

The verbiage which follows this declaration of intent is meant to be a challenge. Please! accept and follow the elements required an English Sonnet. Please! make an effort to adhere to form as an exercise in developing better writing skills. Is there no game Moonie out there? I can't hear you! Please leave some proof.

TRY ONE FOR YOU NOT ME
(English Sonnet)

To write in language ever poignantly
with rhythms key intone your song to sing.
A risk when taken worth performance glee
abound in new found joy your poetry bring.
When joining MoonTown, nearly now a year,
I found some poets, structured verse express
their thoughts. Their message send profoundly clear
confined in form enhanced by strength's caress.
Thus effort spend much bolder words become.
A story tell with music volume for
the reader seeing hears in mind to hum
will benefit communication score.
A quill to ''Will'' I ask you raise for sake
next write to try an English Sonnet make.

I heartily confess it's worth the risk.
So give it a try!
