Response to the great mind (challenge)

Response to the great mind (challenge)

He lays trapped
He lays silent
He lays omniscient
He lays in thought

The shallow eyes
Painted a midnights moon
Reflecting pools of resentment
Reflecting chasms of pain
Hints of gold every now and again
Only to give the fleeting hope of his demise

Royal purple danced
Through his thoughts
Those royal thoughts
Fueled his popularity
Now only blotches of purple and in spackled order
Only leading him with fleeting hope of his title regained.

His mind was on the money
His mind was on the weed
His mind was on a green
Haphazard sort of daze
Now his mind is empty.

He lays crazed
He lays imagining
He lays illogical
He lays dying

His left-brain grew
Only to control
Diving him to insanity
The creativity burst.

He lays only briefly now he is gone.
