Dear Poetry Aficionados,

Poetry & Poets in Rags blog:
http://poetryandpoetsinrags.blogspot.com/

This week, we have some interesting looks at poets, what they are doing or have done, but also their thoughts on poetry and their relationships to poetry. We begin with a clutch of articles on Philip Larkin. Then we look at Elyse Fenton and her poetry, which just won the Dylan Thomas prize. John Timpane in our Great Regulars section also has an article on her, which includes two of her poems. We also have some very good poems in the Garrison Keillor links, also in Great Regulars.

As always, we have lots more very good poems, and lots more very good articles, some such as those on Liu Xiaobo and Aung San Suu Kyi have less to do with their poetry, and more to do with the oppression poets encounter in the world.

Thanks for clicking in.

Yours,
Rus
