we sat of for the fair not just any fair
it was the ould lammas fair at ballycastle
the sun was splitting the trees and we all
felt good,
around by titanic quarter and carrickfergus
bay on the antrim coast road we where on our
way,
a stop at the old bushmills distillery hot
toddy''s two or three one more for the road
and one more just for me,
then of again for ballycastle a fish supper
and mushy peas hot malt viniger warmed our
shakey knee''s,
the fair was as good as allways even better
than the year before honeycomb and yellowman''
candy apples pastie baps scrumpy apple drink'',
then into the pub for some more grub black
bushmills by the glass local''s playing music
irish dancer''s kicking ass,
its going right stay the night let it all go
free dance and sing make a ring and party
to the early hours get yourself around
ballycastle and try out all the bar''s.

let your mind free the words flanders.,.
