Alzheimers-She Goes So Far Away

Alzheimers-She Goes So Far Away

I tried to sit and talk today
Sometimes you are so far away
I miss the sound of your voice
And if I could have my choice
I''d hold you tight and keep away
This Illness of the minds decay
I want to feel your warm embrace
Alas, it has gone without a trace
In your eyes I see a blank stare
How lonely I feel sitting here
In your garden beneath the trees
I have my childhoods memories
The swing you hung just for me
Sitting under the tree having tea
And even though you may have forgot
In my heart,Ill forget you not.
