Challenge 15: Your Thoughts Hum

Challenge 15: Your Thoughts Hum

You secretly hum, to faces filled with eyes of your thoughts.
Riding on a train, driven by the dead man living in your bed
Of restless minds suffocating in endless pray.

Your eyes are shallow, with coffee in your hands;
It's gone cold.

Wooden floorboards hide underneath your feet.
These walls quiver as your fingerprints never disappear.

Do you remember my words as if they were real?
Do you remember padded walls as if they were home?

I wore your ripped garments to bed while you were gone.
I hid in your thoughts until morning came around.
You continued to mumble to yourself, in hope...

For a way to get out.

My mum actually suffers from a mental illness, and so this is dedicated to her.
