Cutting-Challenge 15-A True Story

Cutting-Challenge 15-A True Story

The silver sliver,
ironically catching the sun''s rays,
Meets my skin,
Gliding with ease,
Through the layers,
Right down to my soul.
With each tiny perfect red drop
That spills haphazardly to the
Bathroom floor,
I can feel my soul being released.
Time after time I trace
Smooth, straight lines,
Much as if I were
Writing a poem.
Until finally my soul reigns free.
Matter of fact like,
I clean up,
And go on with my day.

"The greatest warriors are the ones who stand for peace." H. Near
