Misunderstood (Challenge 18)

Misunderstood (Challenge 18)

Rating:
Her clothes were less than appropriate,
And less than enough.
Her tiger print blouse,
Silky and tight,
Showed much more cleavage,
Than needed,
And her skirt,
Black leather,
Left nothing to the imagination.
The women called her a slut,
But the men gathered round,
Knowing she’d be easy.
But when she went home,
She spent her nights alone,
Reading, writing, painting.
No men slid through her door at midnight.
She’d never even seen,
The inside of a sleazy hotel,
She was not easy,
She was not a slut,
She was just insecure,
A misunderstood artist,
Just trying to be popular.
