soda bread on the griddle and butter
melting on hot patoto farls,
that was the smell of my grandmothers
house''
in the front room aroma of condor ready rub
tobacco filled the air as grandfather smoked
his pipe,
at night the sound of 'danny boy' played on the
old harp fluttered even my fathers heart,
we sat we sang and remembered joy of youth
and the old bladder case ball kicked up and
down the yard,
days gone by so fast and i stand at a head
stone''my mind drifts and a tear.

let your mind free the words flanders.,.
