Its a cold Morning I wake up
First thing on my Mind where do I get my glue?
To keep my soul together with my body
While you tossed your blanket from your bed to make Coffee
I sniff glue to make me warm
I know its wrong but its the only right thing I know
I am a street kid, for years I have been living here
I know every corner of these streets from running away and chasing after strangers
Everything I know I have learned here
When the sun is out I am up, when the sun is down I must go under the bridge
I am a street kid
My name is SABELO, SLINDILE, ANELE, or ZANELE
I have forgotten who I am; my dreams have just become my wishes
Every day is the same I eat, I sniff and I sleep
At the end of my day I ask myself what must happen to me before I return home
