Her kiss lands
on my lips
Like a butterfly
landing on a
stalk of wheat.
Like a downy feather
falling from a bird,
blowing down the street.
Soft as a touch.
Light as a blush.
And I'll confess.
Its gentleness
still gives me
a rush.
Because I am
well aware
of the sheer weight
of emotion
behind it.
