deadmanseeking reviewed "Forgiveness" by surviver48 & A tear for Yesterday by quill59

She knelt with tears in her eyes
At her ground zero,
Wondering where were her blue skies
And where was her hero.
Her life was to be
A pleasure cruise.
Her life was to be
All gain, no lose.
Now all she had
Was a pile of rubble.
Now all she had
Was a burst bubble,
The shirt on her back,
The strength of her heart,
The will to attack, and
The courage to start.

She went to rebuild
Her castles grand.
Her voice was not stilled.
She called to the land
For a renewal of a life
Bold, not bland,
Able to conquer strife, and
Able to take a stand
With her spirit set free
And soaring away and away
To a high destiny
And a tall new day.
