Divine Light

Divine Light

Is it a new star in the heavens that's shining in my eyes?
Is it the sunlight on the seashore that creates the golden sparkle?
Is it the moon that causes that silvery shimmer on my face?
Is it the brilliance of the daylight that's penetrating the azure blue skies?
Is it the reflection of 1000 candles on a still, dark pond at midnight that's causing the hauntingly beautiful effulgence that fills my eyes; overwhelming my senses; sending me to a place of pure, clear, perfect, unfiltered, divine light?
No... It's the sparkle of your eyes... All other forms of light dim to a dull twilight by comparison, and I am lost in cold, indifferent darkness outside of your gaze
