My Heart the Culprit

My Heart the Culprit

Its like a seething anguish
That I cant control
This love and hatred cannot be distinguished
The misery accompanied, refuses to let go.

The very sound of your name
Brings bitterness and longing to the tip of my tongue
Truth is the theme of the game
Yet the rules are unclear and the winner is none.

I shouldnt blame the creator
If I dare take part
Although, Im deceived by a traitor
The culprit: my heart.

Sometimes you have to go through hell to get to heaven.
