Angel in the Rain

Angel in the Rain

Thunder rumbles, lightning crashes,
the pheonix flame reborn from ashes.
Blood racing through my veins,
heart pounding to the beat of rain.
What's this strange light I see!?
The beauty of creation,
right in front of me!
Shy in nature,
yet full of confidence,
nudges from a brother without consequence.
Strengthening winds, carrying smiling faces.
Splashing in puddles, pursuance hastens.
Why can''t I maintain?
Why must I contain?
Perhaps patience is the key, focus on thyself and you shall see.
Flowing red hair, gorgeous green eye's, fluttering lashes to my surprise.
What is this feeling coming over me?
Is this true love? Could it be?
Care for someone like you've never cared before.
Now go Brandon, walk through that door.
Don't hide your feelings, do not ignore!
This is your chance I implore!
Now go my child, live happy and joyous,
do not get discouraged for you have purpose!
