Her voice is rolling thunder
an elephant in every room
striking all the chords
metal vines restrain the zoo

setting all my boundaries
her frozen heart
can melt a flame
no one dare to visit
all are dead
who speak the name

for years I''ve fought and struggled
ripping claws right from the skin
twisted little games
my innocence can never win

guilty of all madness
men are beasts
she longs to tame
never satisfied
a deserts thirst
for summer rain

what could fuel a monster
turning golden rings to rust
how can hate confine a love
then pound it into dust

foaming at the mouth
a rabid dog without a chain
but who could ever own
what even hell
will never claim

* a love to hate you poem

P.S. would you write: will never, or would never? are there rules?

"The day I tried to live, I learned that I was alive."
