The Color Of Loneliness

The Color Of Loneliness

My heart beats out a sad, solitary rhythm, as I turn out the lights, and listen to the lonely sound of silence in my empty bedroom.
The air around me is ebony black, as my arms crave the one thing that can fill their void, my eyes desire the only vision that can give them delight, and my body aches for the one presence that can quell its longing, and feed its insatiable hunger.
Oh god, my heart thumps out such a sad, solitary tune without you beside me.
The color of my bedroom is ebony black in the empty night, but the color of my lonely soul is indigo blue.
