I have been here quite awhile now,
Your shoulder set to cry on!
Awash with tears, my soakened arms are yours,
Lift your head instead of bow,
Let me see your eyes that mope,
Let me see if the light that dimmers deep inside,
Warrants my attention,
Through all your pain, my comforting is yours,
But alas, thats all I am too thee,
My face no longer shows you my love,
Miserable, not to be able to purse those lips,
For its not I that you cry, but for another,
Yet I am here, always here,
And your soul is there, with him,
I cannot have you for my own,
But whenever your needing,
I am here or here or here.
