Her Voice

Her Voice

This morning I heard her voice.
My lips start to tremble, and my throat begins to close.
My heart starts to race, and my breath begins to pant.
My eyes start to mist, and my voice begins to quiver.
For she is the passionate energy that drives my tired spirit.
She is the divine love that infuses my timid soul.
She is the immortal strength that empowers my fragile heart.
Without her love, my mind cannot make sense of this world.
Without her love, my will cannot survive this insane existence.
Without her love, my body cannot endure this mad sickness.
This morning I heard her voice.
Oh God, I need her just to survive!
