Your hand has turned cold in my grasp,
as you slowly withdraw it, trembling and weak.
Your eyes have become round, wet mirrors
of the unspeakable sorrow in your soul.
Your face has gone pale and gaunt,
and speaks without words,
of the sickening pain in your broken heart.

My head throbs with a skull-crushing drumbeat,
as I slowly, agonizingly turn it away from you.
My heart races in my tightened chest
like an oily, black, evil jackhammer.
My feet are paralyzed in an eternal pose,
and my legs have become shaky, useless wooden pegs.

We are ended.
We are finished.
We are done.

And I am destroyed.
Oh god I am destroyed!
