Emily's Autumn Kiss

Emily's Autumn Kiss

October winds blow hard and cold,
I stare at Emily as she peers with eyes of molten snow,
Writing her diary, of loves untold,
Her silken bows wrapped around her head,
Her lace torn on her handed down shawl,
Oh Emily Oh Emily I hear myself call,
I am outside in the seasons, my body wains against the air,
But not my Emily, who sits smiling, as she brushes through her hair,
I hold my hands out, come here to me, I motion to whom I love,
Emily rises,
Its almost like spring has come for the breeze that chills my body now boils up my blood,
Her delicate gloved hands, purse against her mouth,
As she gently pushes her emotions south, through the glass she sees,
To dragging up the fallen leaves that bared the oldest trees,
A spiral of devotion hits me just like this,
I have waited all the summer,
Just to taste Emilys Autumn Kiss!
