Do Not Tell Me

Do Not Tell Me

Do not tell me.
No, do not try to tell me about it.
I have been there far too many times already.

So damned sick of all the black, blatant lies,
spoken in innocent tones, square into my trusting, gullible face.
No more of the filthy, cheating betrayals,
done covertly behind my ignorant, (stabbed-in-the) back.
I am finished with those sweetly spoken, phony, plastic,
"I truly mean it"("Liar!"), three bullshit-stuffed words:
I LOVE YOU

Do not tell me.
No, do not try to tell me about it.
I have been there far too many times already.
