One Sexy TV

One Sexy TV

Snarling in my ear.

Waking up the neighbors with the screaming.

Two hot and sweaty bodies rolling around in dunes of sheets.
Wasting hours of our lives with meaningless passion.

Well, that was then.
Now, the TV is sexier than I am.

I have a lot more to offer.
I have warmth and compassion.
The TV is mans creation and is filled with lies.
I have even heard it will rot your brain.
But it gets more attention than I do.

I try to touch you, but I am just another commercial that you ignore.

When did it change?
Is this what unconditional has become?

Maybe before it was about sex.
This may very well be a curse to us both.
For our evils and our sin.
Our punishment is this limbo called love.
This must be that proverbial true love.

In the beginning, the start was more important than the end.
You must have lost your way and I lost my transportation when you did.

At least TV is still here for you.
I have nothing but love.
