The Best Warmth

The Best Warmth

You lay you open hand over my up-turned one.
You then flip your hand over, taking mine with it,
By cause of this electric, magnetic,
Between us two.
My hand is over yours,
Both open,
I hold it above your own,
Barely skimming the surface of your palm.
Simultaneously our fingers touch the heel of each other hands,
Then, they meet, somehow they slide into each other, fitting perfectly, like puzzle pieces.
But this is no puzzle,
God crafted each for the other,
Then he brought us together.
Our fingers are not entwined,
As I have heard spoken of in songs.
No, they are held together as in a handshake.
Sheltered, by your much wider, more muscled hand,
My long, thin, fingers can not feel cold,
not in your warm,
Warm hand.
Fast flows the current of electricity between us,
Then not so fast as steady,
Calming, comfort makes me sleepy, sleepy and
Warm, safe, sure of your love,
more importantly, youre sure of mine,
I could gaze in your eyes for all of time,
We speak softly,
On many,
and any,
We like
and the rumble of your voice comforts me,
It sounds so tender, so,

Never say you love someone if you dont,
If you do, tell them often, people forget.
