One Final Dance (In My Dreams)

One Final Dance (In My Dreams)

She jumped into my dreams last night,
and we danced one final dance.

It was her:
The one whose face could squeeze my brain in an iron grip,
only to be released by her controlling whim.
The one whose body could make me burn and rage
like a fiery, exploding volcano.
The one whose voice could capture and entrap my will,
and render me a helpless victim of her passions.
The one whose eyes could drive me weak and trembling
down to my knees in lustful obeisance.

She jumped into my dreams last night,
and we danced one final dance.

I awoke; heart racing, and head reeling.
I wiped away a solitary tear, and arose
to begin another lonely day.
