In the dark a beauty lies beneath the gloom,
But one so potent, her hair doth bloom,
Not of flowers you see!
Of serpents that slither and crawl from the sea,
A tether of knots hissing at me,

I shield my eyes and look away,
To live and find another day,
In which I have a chance to view,
That beautiful face that belongs to you,

You captivate and lure within,
A voice of golden tones begin,
Trance like, in rhythmic beat,
Your charm concludes a venomous heat,

My want is such that I cannot hide,
Oh my, your eyes! I'm mesmerised,
I cannot move, I'm stuck I'm sure,
You have me motionless by your side,

I peer into your mind,
I look into your eyes,
My heart turns to stone,
As I become Medusafied.
