What else

What else

Im drunk, drunk on this bed full of lies,
Icy spines shiver whenever you approach,
Got a roach burning slow between my lips,
Relit like the fire between my breasts,
And you still ask me, what else?

I melt your frozen spirit with eyes made of glass,
When the past was but a mirror of your broken heart,
You never changed but I changed with time,
Suffering your lies with a face of shredded smiles,
Am I moronic, to take a sip of your forbidden tonic?
It's ironic that I never got to taste it, fully appreciate it,
Because u pull away like I never had anything to say,
Like for me to love you was just another way,
For you to get hurt, but you remained safe,
I was the one to take all forty thousand blades,
And still you ask, what else?

What else is there to say,
When you're my night and day,
The darkness fades away,
With every breath you take,
What else is there to say,
But 'I love you'
