Help me god, I am Heathcliff,
A tormented soul that waits upon the edge of life for my beloved Kathy,
The wind tears along my arms, my jacket flaps in anarchy,
I pull my hair and my face appears ghostlike, pale and withdrawn,
I lean against the oldest tree; I hear it groan under the strain,
Like the worlds angst labouring its roots like an anchor,
My back supported against its ancient bark, I peer to the heavens amongst the backdrop of a storm,
I am wet! The rain hangs off the oldest branches high up in the tree and soaks my body,
I do not care! I miss Kathy, God! I miss Kathy,
My saviour of my pain, the very beat of my heart,
Without her Im lost, shield me, allow me to take her place,
Kathy....Kathy.....It is I Heathcliff that calls your name!
