This is far too wide
Too wide to hide...
It is not fiction
there is no restriction
On what my mind can see

Yet such hurt and pain
Strikes again and again
For something that seemed so nice
I'm one of the three blind mice
My only vice
Is believing a little too much - and such

So as the bridge widens
And you go into hiding
So I'll not see, feel or hear...
The wish to have you near
The "We" that used to be disappears
into the night
With the rustic flight
of a love from yesteryear...

.....A well deserved edit.....
